Our Mission

The Mission of the Washington Township Ambulance and Rescue Association is to provide exemplary emergency care to the residents and visitors of Washington Township and its neighboring communities. We are committed to providing the most efficient, professional and courteous medical care to our patients no matter how grave the circumstance. We strive to achieve our goals through continuous, aggressive training and we aspire to protect, comfort and befriend all whom we come in contact with.

Washington Township Ambulance Association is committed to providing total "high performance" emergency medical services with strong focus on changes to innovate a broader spectrum of sophisticated and expanded services to better serve the community.

Squad Profile

The Washington Township Ambulance Association has been providing ambulance service to the residents of Washington Township since 1956. For over 53 years we have strived to provide prompt, quality service. For a more detailed history, please see Our History. Our organization is currently staffed by 30 full and part time professionals. Our fleet of 4 ambulances consist of the latest state of the art Type 3 Basic Life Support Ambulances.

Washington Township Ambulance Association is made up of career, State of NJ certified, EMTs that provide not only the obvious function Basic Life Support, but is also charged with numerous other public awareness and public safety assignments. These tasks include emergency medical response; rescue; special operations; public information; public education; public CPR training; communications, facility, apparatus and equipment maintenance.

The Ambulance Squad will provide emergency medical services to our community with the highest standards of care possible.
